Come to the Wells Fargo Tower, 100 W. Washington -
Friday 1PM to 3PM,
Al Sharpton goes to see Joe on the 19th Floor, 1:30 to
2:30, we need to be there when he goes.
We have "WE ARE HUMAN" signs to hand out. Keep the
message simple!!
Friday night at 7:30pm, there will be a candle-prayer
vigil at the Macehualli Work Center,
25th St and Bell Road with the Palomino neighborhood or
barrio.
There are weekly vigils at Macehualli to connect with
the families and the communities who are suffering.
There are also weekly vigils on Tuesday, 7:30pm
at the 4th Ave Jail at Madison in downtown Phoenix.
Donation Car Wash Saturday at Macehualli to Support the
Community Center, 9am to 1pm.

13th, 2007
Article 36
1. Indigenous peoples, in
particular those divided by international
borders, have the right to
maintain and develop contacts,
relations and cooperation, including activities
for spiritual, cultural,
political, economic and social purposes,
with their own members as well as
other peoples across borders.
2. States, in consultation and cooperation with
indigenous peoples,
shall take effective measures to
facilitate the exercise
and ensure the implementation of
this right.

at the federal building.

6, 2008--Forum On Racial Profiling
The
Arizona Civil Rights Advisory Board, appointed by
Governor Janet Napolitano, held a forum for public
comments on racial profiling and will recommend that
Arizona police agencies take steps to ensure better
training and reporting, as well as creation of an
independent citizen commission to investigate
racial-profiling complaints.
